Country beach up Oahu's Windward shore
Hauula Beach Park, a rural destination away from the busy city life. This nine-acre park is nestled in a serene location, and gives off a small Hawaiian town feel. It’s a wonderful location for those who are interested in setting up camp and spending a few nights enjoying the peaceful surroundings that the park provides.
Many locals and travelers enjoy coming here to pop up their tents, cast their lines from the shore into the waters and wait for the fish to bite. If your new to the island and in need of some fishing gear, we recommend getting your gear from Hawaii Ocean Adventure Tours located in the beautiful surfing town of Haleiwa.
Although the beach shore is narrow, Hauula Beach Park can also be a great place for beginner surfers who are interested getting their feet wet. This park also provides conditions for snorkeling, however, it’s advised to wear some water shoes when near the coral to ensure your safety.
If you’re looking for a destination with a larger place for swimming and setting up for a day on a beach, check out Kapalaoa Beach. It’s just a short distance away from Hauula Beach Park and you might even get to spot a seal or two lounging on the shores.
