National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific

The Memorial

Hawaii is a place rich with military history and the National Memorial Cemetery is part of that history. Finished in 1949, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places the memorial cemetery is the resting place of the brave men and women who lost their lives serving the US military in the Pacific Theater and those that did after.

Originally just a cemetery, the Honolulu Memorial was built years later, in 1964, and features more dedications.

The Memorial will be an interesting visit for anyone interested in the history of the American military or if you want to pay your respects to the men and women who serve it.
