Ko Olina Lagoons

Four man-made lagoons surrounded by resorts on Oahu's Leeward side

The Beach

Looking for a beach with a more modern feel? Ko Olina Lagoons consists of four man made lagoons, Hanu, Naia, Kolola and Ulua, all with their own sandy white beach located on the southwestern side of Oahu adjacent to the Four Seasons Ko Olina Resort, the Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. These 4 crescent shaped lagoons areIts waters are enclosed and barricaded by large rocks which prevent rough waves and high surf from disturbing the shores. This provides a perfect place for swimming and playing in the water, and is also a great location for a little snorkeling as well.

From the Sky

One of Ko Olina’s defining features is its beautiful sunsets. It can be a wonderful place to take wedding photos, or even just stroll about the shoreline with the family. Another highlight of the Ko Olina area is its manicured grassy lawns that offer you a quality spot for picnicking or relaxing with a nice book in hand.

Sunset

Far away from the bustling beaches of Waikiki you Ko Olina has a more laid back resort vibe. The weather at Ko Olina tends to be a little hotter, sunnier, and drier than Honolulu and Waikiki as well, as is the entire Leeward (West) side of the island.

If you’re interested in staying at one of the nearby resorts, they offer their visitors an excellent spa service and an eighteen hole golf course that is ranked as one of the nations top courses.
