Trendy Sushi and Japanese restaurant with a unique atmosphere and floor seating
Out on the North Shore checking out the beautiful beaches, like Waimea Bay and Sunset, and looking for a delicious and unique dining experience? Check out Banzai Sushi Bar on the main stretch in Haleiwa. You’ll sense the unique vibes of Banzai as soon as you walk in. The front of the open air restaurant is split into regular tables in chairs on one side, and traditional Japanese seating with pillows on the ground, on the other. There’s also a sushi bar in back and another patio seating area to the side. So pick what kind of dining experience you want.
Once it’s time to order, you’ll have a menu full of traditional Japanese fare to pick from. Delicious pupus, fresh fish, and a full selection of creative rolls you can’t go wrong. Or try the well-marbled Wagyu beef which is served with lava rock heated to 800 degrees to cook it on. Don’t forget drinks! Try the Saketinis, a refreshing sake cocktail served in a Japanese masu, a wooden box that sake is often served in.
